Joseph Gillott Mapping Nibs

The William Mitchell Joseph Gillott Mapping Nibs are delicate and flexible dip pen nibs for mapping, writing and calligraphy. They can create fine and wide lines depending on the pressure applied. All three nib types are responsive and sensitive making them ideal for fine detail and delicate work.
The Joseph Gillott Mapping Nib 850 is stiffer than 2788 but not as stiff as 659.
The Joseph Gillott Mapping Nib 2788 is not as stiff as 850 or 659.
The Joseph Gillott Mapping Nib 659 is stiffer than 850 and 2788.

Before first use, it is best to soak the nibs in boiling water to remove it's protective coating.
