Mabef M29 Basic Folding Field Easel

The MABEF M29 is the classic wooden, lightweight sketching or field easel. Made from seasoned, oiled Beechwood, it is originally intended as a basic easel for working outdoors. The three tri pod legs are fully adjustable, thus providing a level working platform. When fully extended the M29 will support a canvas or light drawing board to a maximum size of 115cm, a little over A1 in dimension. MABEFs’ are made from superior quality materials. Wiping the easel down periodically with a little linseed oil, will help maintain the life and durability of this product. The compact design of this product makes for easy storage and transportation. The two front legs have height adjustable supports allowing for easy accommodation of any size of canvas, drawing board or supported paper. If the telescopic legs remain folded, it can also be used on a desk or tabletop. Being relatively compact this easel is ideal for use where space is limited. The M29 is also good as a temporary display easel and is popular with Galleries for displaying small pieces. When working outdoors, the easel has an additional rest at the bottom of the main support bar, this is designed to hang an equipment satchel or bucket to add weight for increased stability.
